These are metal braces that connect the number 2 pole at the eaves with the number 2 pole halfway up the roof. Shown in red on an overhead diagram of a 6x16m marquee here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/diymarquees.co.uk\/prodimages\/6mcommercial6.jpg\" alt=\"marquee eaves braces\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This extra bracing makes the structure stronger and more resistant to strong winds and water pooling without adding considerably to the weight.
